Sorry for the long delay. Been HELLA busy and stressed, especially trying to get life figured out. But as of late the Hype has been on the MOVE, ESPECIALLY out here in "the Haute." check out the article featuring our own Megan Hypebeast McKenna.

Yeah,she did that. I have reason to believe The Art Hype is the reason why Indiana State Football won their season opener this year!! (and they used to call them the worst team in college football....PSH!)

Other than that, its just business as usual. Demo is DJing up at oasis, getting ready for his new equipment to come in. Dayo is doing is usual wheeling and dealing. Megz is avoiding Comic Sans, by any means neccescary. BOBBY HAS HIS FIRST PHYSICS TEST TODAY AT PURDUE (good luck bob). Jack is doing everything possible with the new camera, and all in all we're living good!

I'll actually take this time to introduce ya'll to the newest addition to the Hype Rajeev AKA Rajeev Wins.



Rapper, video editor, and skater, Rajeev is bringin some new flavor to the hype. He recently released his FIRST MIXTAPE Gary Stu Living vol. 1 and is now in the lab working on his second. I usually hate underground rappers, but Rajeev is actually killin it. Make sure to check him out.

Jack's Bike

Today was actually a sad day in the world of motorcycles.
Jack's bike got towed today :(










When I saw the picture I was actually surprised that they actually used a tow truck to do the deed. I guess I was hoping for something more hilarious to take it away. Like two strongmen, you know? Two Phineas and Barnaby (a la Family guy) types coming in on a unicycle and carrying it away.



If you don't know....




I just figured, if two dudes like that showed up, picked up your bike, and carried it all the tow lot, you couldnt really be in THAT bad of a mood about it getting towed.

Shoot, if that happened, I would just buy a motorcycle and park it illegally every week or so, JUST so I could see that!

Just sayin.....

I introduce myself as Abiola,so unless I address myself to you as "Demo" dont call me that. PG County born and bred, Mount Michael and Creighton graduate. I am being mentored by megan on my design work, so hopefully soon, you'll be seeing more of my work. Other than that I am enthralled in working with music. COOLERTHAN U - CLASS OF 2010

This is a lil somethin somethin I designed for my little brother's graduation party. Wanted to keep it fresh n young. Tried to personalize as much as possible, like a conversation. My favorite part? Definitely the state map. My mom hated the glasses, ("He doesn't even wear them!"), but all in all I think it turned out rockin. My friend Kara Berchem did great work with the photography.
Side note, he CLEANED UP on the grad money. probably because of the invite... u owe me bobby!

Hey what's up, my name is Dayo. I'm from the DMV, Maryland standup. Creighton graduate of 2005, degree in Psychology. I'm "that guy". You may know me as that guy from the club, the party, the concert. I'm Nigerian. Maybe my nickname should be Visa, because I'm everywhere you want to be. I'm Coach & Jack's agent, because they are dorks. Hey, someone's gotta be cool around here. I gave Coach her nickname. I work at a local university dealing with community partnerships. Jack of All Trades

Megan is making me do this. I'm from somewhere in Indiana and I left home when I turned 18. I ended up at Indiana State and enrolled in the 7 year graduation plan. My Bachelor's degree is through the Liberal Arts program in Entertainment. I met Megan my Senior Year and we started working together producing videos for the athletic department, intros, senior night vids, etc. Been writing music for 5 years, done film for four, and gone through a number of bands. I am nocturnal and exist solely on a diet of Monster energy drinks, cheese its, and Winto-green Lifesavers. I like Adult Swim and Law & Order. I spend my life on Final Cut/Motion/Logic. I lived in my office last semester. I'm the guy that brings the idea to life, that makes it work. Megan is screwed if I leave.

Coach 'em up!

This is me, Coach. Born in Chicago, raised everywhere, I ended up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Creighton University in '08 with my BA in Graphic Design. I somehow migrated east, and am now pursuing my Masters, (still in Graphic Design), at Indiana State University. I also work full-time as the Director of New Media for the athletic department. Social networking, publications, website coordination, video and photography, (am i missing something?) and basically anything creative ends up at my door. From commercials to billboards, I can do it. I met Jack on facebook, Dayo at a foam party- that should answer any further questions.

Also, I hate comic sans.
